MINNEAPOLIS, MN (June 27, 2007) – Professional Services Marketing, Inc. (PSM), a Twin Cities-based marketing consulting firm that works exclusively with professional services firms, is pleased to announce the launch of its one-of-a-kind Web-based, interactive tool to help lawyers market. MarketYourLawPractice.com is designed to serve the needs of many; from solo practitioners in small towns to partners in large law firms. This cutting-edge web-based tool is an outgrowth of company president and founder Terrie Wheeler's twenty years as a law firm marketing director and a services marketing consultant. Wheeler believes her firm is the first in the nation to offer such a comprehensive online legal marketing tool, which is backed by an extensive array of dynamic content that includes interactive marketing tools, and hundreds of tips, checklists and templates designed to help lawyers build their skills in marketing, client service, and new business development.

"We know from experience that lawyers enter private practice with no formal training in marketing," Wheeler said. "We also realize that not all lawyers and law firms have the budget to hire marketing consultants and marketing coaches. Another key feature offered on the site is the ability to "Ask a Marketing Question" of a Virtual Marketing Coach and be guaranteed an answer by the next business day. MarketYourLawPractice.com members receive personalized advice and encouragement during each phase of the marketing process and can take advantage of MarketYourLawPractice.com Webinars (CLE credit applied for), email chat features with their Virtual Marketing Coach, the opportunity to "Join a Practice Group," and a "Talk to your Peers Discussion Board" that allows lawyers to exchange marketing tips and information.

In PSM's Your Personal Marketing CoachSM program, an individual marketing coach works with a lawyer over the course of one to two years to teach them the art of relationship building to maximize their financial contribution to a firm, and to ensure their long-term success and satisfaction as a lawyer. PSM marketing coaches help individual lawyers assess, plan, implement, and measure the results of their tailored marketing strategies. Firms with multiple lawyers will pay a discounted annual fee depending upon the number of users within the firm.

Wheeler said MarketYourLawPractice.com's new Web-based legal marketing tool, two years in development, fills a void in the marketplace. She said there is one East Coast company she knows of that provides online legal marketing assistance, but its service is not nearly as comprehensive.

PSM ran a soft launch of the new MarketYourLawPractice.com web site in May with about 30 Twin Cities-based attorneys. Feedback from this group (available through the link at the top of the release) enabled PSM to make final changes to the site.
